We explore multiple locations within the expansive backcountry, choosing trailheads based on optimal conditions selected by your guide for the day’s adventure.
What To Expect During a Day of Backcountry Skiing in the Santiago Region:
Tailored to fitness levels, technical skills, and daily conditions, skiers and riders enjoy multiple descents through fresh backcountry tracks. Expect diverse terrain, ranging from open bowls and spaced trees to challenging, steep lines that will excite even seasoned skiers.
Who Can Participate in Guided Backcountry Skiing:
Advanced intermediate skiers/riders comfortable both on and off-piste in varied conditions are welcome. Confidence navigating blue runs and most black diamond runs at a ski resort, including ungroomed terrain, is recommended.
Skiers or riders aged 12-16 can join with a parent, while those 16 years and older can participate independently.
Santiago Region Backcountry Ski Rentals:
A complete backcountry touring setup is essential, and we offer rentals at reasonable costs. Equipment such as beacons, probes, shovels, touring skis, touring boots, and splitboards are available for rent to ensure you have all necessary gear for the adventure.
Rates:
Single: $400
Group of 2: $300/person
Group of 3: $280/person
Group of 4: $250/person
Please contact the office to book groups of 4 or more.
Add-Ons:
- Ski / snowboard rentals $ 95 usd per day includes boots, skis, poles, skins.
Not included:
- Flights
- Travel insurance
- Drinks and extra meals
- Anything else…
Payments:
- Single programs require full payment upon booking.
- For longer programs, a 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation. The balance must be paid 5 weeks before the program starts.
- Bookings made less than 4 weeks before the trip starts must be accompanied by full payment.
- After Booking
- Along with receipts, we will send a sample of our liability waiver for your signature upon meeting, and if necessary, an experience questionnaire.
- Booking Conditions
- Registration is subject to waiver completion and having travel insurance.
- Changes and Cancellations
- Esnativa reserves the right to modify or cancel itineraries or services due to weather or other reasons, without penalty.
- We are not responsible for actions of third parties
- In case of emergency, rescue costs may be the participant’s responsibility.
Cancellation and Refunds:
- Refund if Esnativa cancels.
- Penalties for client cancellation vary depending on notice period.
- Limitations of Liability
